On 16th January 2020 we launched Merton's Business Network for Climate Action in partnership with Sustainable Merton - the borough's leading environmental charity, and Wimbledon Centre Court Shopping Centre, to celebrate 2020 as their Year of Sustainability.
At a time when concern about the escalating climate crisis continues to grow, we want to support businesses to take action to reduced their environmental impact and to adopt more sustainable business practices.
Our Network brings together local businesses and organisations who are here to help - whether it's eliminating single-use plastic, recycling responsibly and sourcing local package-free food or switching energy suppliers and using sustainable energy solutions to raising awareness of environmental issues both internally and withing the wider community. We will showcase the good things businesses are doing and lead the green conversation.
