Over the past 10 years the growth of co-working has exploded. These have been set up to support early stage businesses in their growth, often providing peer to peer learning, business support and dealing with that awful isolation factor so often experienced by those working from home. Whether they are open workspaces, meanwhile spaces, co-working spaces, incubators and accelerators, all of them provide temporary and sometimes permanent accommodation and support for entrepreneurs, start-ups and scale-ups.

In 2019 the five South London boroughs are exploring co-working solutions for localities – we believe Merton borough needs much more of this type of facility and are lobbying for action to be taken.
