Colliers Wood
Colliers Wood covers a diverse area that includes the city high street, an industrial business park and a rural arts and crafts village.
At the heart of Colliers Wood is Merton High Street with a host of independent shops, as well as its two defining underground stations at South Wimbledon and Colliers Wood itself. It is a blend of residential, shop front, and commercial areas, including three retail parks and small businesses with surrounding industrial estates, making it a very busy area!
With the River Wandle passing through some unique local features, such as Merton Abbey Mills and one of the earliest recorded settlements in the borough; Merton Priory, which was established in 1117.
The renowned Colliers Wood Tower has now been redeveloped into privately let apartments, with commercial space at street level.
