Full Time Employment
We encourage all employers to consider taking on their Kickstarter to be part of the team as a full-time employee.
If you are unsure that you can support your young person, we want to bring your attention to some further opportunities and subsidies that may help you to fulfil this goal.

The Apprenticeship Incentives payment has now been extended and employers can apply for a payment of £3000 for new apprentices of any age who have an employment start date of 1 April 2021 to 30 September 2021. They must have an apprenticeship start date of 1 April 2021 to 30 November 2021.

UPDATE 5 OCTOBER 2021: The £3000 bonus payment to employers, was extended to the end of January 2022 by the Chancellor in his Autumn budget.

The incentive payment is in addition to the £1,000 employers already receive for hiring an apprentice:
aged 16 to 18 years old
under 25 with an education, health and care plan or who has been in the care of their local authority
Apprenticeships are delivered as a ‘Standard’ and are a minimum of 12 months delivery.

Traineeships are programmes of education and training that will help young people get the skills and experience they need to secure an apprenticeship or a job as a result.  
A £1,000 bonus will be limited to 10 trainees per employer, for offering work experience placement of a minimum of 70 hours.
Traineeships provide an excellent progression route to an apprenticeship, providing the employer and trainee the opportunity to trial the industry and organisation prior to signing up for a longer-term commitment of employment and training.
