Summary
The Work Coach holds a key role in the Department for Work and Pensions as you will be helping people and their families towards financial independence through work and enabling them to get the support they need as they move towards this ambition.
Work Coaches are customer focused, dedicated individuals with empathy and compassion and able to deliver an exceptional public service to people who need support.
You will use sound judgement to help people through some difficult, challenging times in their lives and your tailored coaching can make a huge difference to their ability to find, stay in and progress in a job. You will work collaboratively and proactively across a range of work areas in the Department, as well as in your local community to find support and plan positive next steps for a wide range of people, including some of society’s most vulnerable people.
As a Work Coach you will also receive a tailored learning and development programme to build your knowledge and skills.
