Quite simply, we save people time and money by managing everything relating to their premises. Our tenants don’t have to worry about hiring a receptionist or a security company. We collect their post, manage their waste and recycling, post collection and organise office cleaning. The Generator Business Centre was set up to nurture new and existing businesses and is managed by Merton Chamber of Commerce, under a lease with Merton Council. The business centre is a dynamic location for ambitious, growing businesses from all sectors. More than just a business centre, it offers high quality offices and light industrial space with excellent technical infrastructure – plus – a hub for support, information and business activity.

KevBusiness services
Unlike most other business centres, at The Generator we have on-site business advisers available through the Merton Business Support Service, as well as a rolling programme of networking events, training and workshops to help your business succeed.

Full onsite business support services, mentoring and consultancy are also available to tenants through an advisory team. ‘Over the past five years we have seen some great success stories, like Bluebird Care and Saggiomo Luxury Foods, who have evolved from start-ups to rapid growth businesses. All the while, they have not only had the support of The Generator management team, they have had constant access to Merton Chamber business advisers who provide services such as writing business plans, marketing advice and help to raise finance. Chamber business adviser, Kevan Dunne recently helped Saggiomo Luxury Foods secure a £45,000 grant from the EU,’ Merton Chamber Chief Executive, Diana Sterck, said.

‘I’m here most days and we have an open door policy. We have helped many of our tenants grow their businesses,’ Kevan Dunne explained.
