This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our booking/joining/renewal forms ask users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card details), that information is encrypted and is protected with best practice encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, as will be the case for most of the time that a user is browsing the web. Payments are taken through WorldPay, the leading Payment Service Provider. At no time do Merton Chamber of Commerce have access to your credit card information. This information is provided by you, via our website, directly to the secure servers at WorldPay. When your payment is processed you are then passed back seamlessly to our website. Whilst we can securely view a transaction in order to view date, amount, contact details, and we are able to give partial or full refunds, we do not see or collect credit card details at any time.
